my tattoo artist did it for free… we designed it together but it only took about an hour… You said it was small, charge by how long it takes you draw it up!
If you are average charge $100 an hour. If you are good charge $200.
MOST DO NOT CHARGE FOR THE DESIGN BUT HOW LONG IT TAKES, COLORING, DETAIL THE DESIGN COSTS IS HIDDEN IN THE OVER ALL COSTS
?? my tattoo artists designs all of my tattoos and i don’t get charged for his art only for his time in actually tattooing. i guess it’s up to you to decide how much your design is worth but if you’re not a tattoo artist you may not be the best to create a design since not all drawings are easily translated onto skin.
This is a tough call. Tattoo flash is sold by artists but commands any variety of price. Many tattoo artists incorporate the cost of designing into the price of a custom piece. If you’re just drawing the image, I would decide on a hourly amount you would like to make from it.
Tattoos are not something cheap. You should charge her no more than $300 no less than $200.
