What is the symbolism behind Gyspy woman tattoos and why is that?

As far as I know they are supposed to symbolize luck. If this is correct, than why do they symbolize luck? If not, then what do they symbolize period and why?

   for symbols of good luck look into your talisman & many other symbols you may not get because it goes along with the secret societys some symblos you will get .but with the symbols you got to know how to actavite them
